A PROFESSIONAL MUSIC STUDIO OPENS ON CURAÇAO
Curaçao has a new professional music studio. Madero Music Studios officially opened its doors at Mambo Beach Boulevard on Wednesday, 2 September 2026. The studio aims to become a meeting place for artists, producers and songwriters from across the Caribbean and beyond, supporting local musical talent and encouraging international collaboration.
Madero Music Studios is a joint initiative of Madero Ocean Club, Orion Distributie and Big Boss Music. The three partners combine their networks, experience and expertise to build a professional, internationally oriented environment for music creation and talent development from Curaçao.
A NEW CREATIVE FACILITY
The opening gives Curaçao a new facility for music production, recording, songwriting and artist development. Located at Madero Ocean Club, in the Dolfijn FM building, the studio offers professional recording and production spaces open to established artists and emerging talent alike.
It was set up out of a need for a professional environment where creators can work together, exchange knowledge and develop their music to an international standard — strengthening the local scene while building connections with producers, labels and artists across Europe, North and South America and the Caribbean.
CURAÇAO'S STRATEGIC POSITION
The choice of Curaçao is no coincidence. Its geographic location and cultural diversity make the island a natural link between different music markets, opening opportunities for international studio sessions, writers camps and cross-cultural collaborations where local influences meet international styles.
The ambition is to develop Curaçao further as a creative destination where music is not only made, but exported to a global audience.
During the official opening on 2 September, invited guests, partners and representatives from the creative sector got their first look inside the new studio. The evening was built around music, networking and the presentation of the plans for the period ahead.
In the coming months, Madero Music Studios will focus on facilitating studio sessions, developing new talent and building regional and international collaborations — with particular attention to connecting local artists with international producers, labels and other professionals from the music industry.
